LAS ÁNIMAS is the artistic and creative studio founded by Trini Salamanca and Pablo Párraga in Seville in 2014.
Its imaginary universe explores the boundaries between object-based art and collectible design. Through a language of minimalist, geometric and iterative patterns, alongside experimentation with materials, forms and textures, the studio develops a monumental iconography of ceremonial aesthetics and monolithic appearance, where architectural brutalism merges with the iconography of ritual.
Its pieces evoke a parallel, dreamlike world, a liminal territory filled with visions and references to the occult, the passage of time, religion, interdimensional shifts and the duality between primitivism and futurism, all acting as triggers for mechanisms of personal and collective unconscious memory. An aesthetic universe where sensory archive, formal balance and spirituality converge.
Works marked by a mystical, contemplative and arcane character; pieces conceived as keys that open secret hatches towards higher states of consciousness. Enigmatic structures linked to mythology, ancient cultures and imagined rituals, which challenge functionality in order to construct a cosmology charged with emotions that lead the viewer into a mental state dislocated from space and time.
